HIV/AIDS, is here to stay and it will only stay if you allow it and encourage it by means of not taking this issue seriously. Although the government has spent millions to reducing the statistics of those who have been effected and affected, it has not change the growing statistics. The terror of the epidemic is that those who live innocent lives do not know that they are infected by the virus. And the other fear, is that the majority of the population that lives in the rural area of which is 80-85 percent are infected.

The question is, is it due to lack of awareness, or is awareness not reaching the majority of the population or is the awareness conveying the wrong information to the majority of the people????.

One of the biggest obsiticles is 'LANGUAGE BARRIER'. Most faciliators of awarness campaigns use languages that are RECOGNISED AS "TABOO' . There fore, many do not want to pay attention to awareness campaigns because the languages used are driving them away. Such languages are, condom and the list goes on.

And the other major obsticle is "BEHAVIOR CHANGE.' if people change their negative attitude towards the epidemic, probably, the epidemic would decline, and there would be a better change of saving our nation from this terrorist "HIV/AIDS'.
