School buses for students in NCD!!! Great ayyeh???

Students must take good care of 'em, 'coz they'll realy serve 'em well.... Additionally, these were purchased wif money from rate payers ... I think all students contributed nothing, as they are currently classified as 'dependents'.... so hav sum pride people n lukin afta facilities provided to make ur lives much mo easier!!!!

O'sem toksave tsol ...

@Reeves;

I totally agree with you re: prosecuting/pernalising careless chewers, and some sellers (after all the poor seller's tryna make a decent livin in the big city!) Peeps who chew and spit everywher are the ones that are very responsible for the filty yuckky mess called buai spittle, and spread of TB, and other related diseases!

@MiiSuS OFFiiCeR: Sis, wait till you get here and see for yourself. Laws are made to control socially unacceptable practices. Buai has been a part of PNG culture since time immemorial. This law wouldn't be effective immediately, but over time, it may have some benefits.

Then again, laws are meant to be broken! I hate it when Policemen and City Hall employees hire to enforce this new law (currently named Informal Market Inspectors) confiscate buai from street sellers, throw these all over the place for onlookers and pedestrians to rush for these 'free' buai! They too chew these buai themselves and spit spittle!! I mean, the purpose of the new law is still not achieved!!!

I'm glad I've kicked the habit as a new year resolution. You should check out my teeth, they a so white!!!

yeah too bad the new law doesn't seem to work. there are buai chewers and vendors helping themselves everywhere i go and this problem is not gonna dissappear too soon.
i would suggest NCDC instead should punish the chewers instead of the vendors. say if u are caught spitting or chewing buai in public places, you get fined a fee of K20. in this way the public - the actual pepertrators - would slow down and eventually abide by the laws and respect public areas and stop spewing stains onto public properties....
